Brutal Comedy

This comedy showcase at the Depot in Baltimore was produced by local comedians Jesse Cumor, who's had dozens of showcases under the Brutal Comedy marquee, and Michael Furr.

Each month they commissioned an artist to design a poster with a certain era of album artwork in mind. They assigned me Rob Zombie (a la the trip sequence in Beavis and Butthead Do America)/ Rat Fink/ Heavy Metal as the inspiration. I figured I'd illustrate a zombie comedian, a narcissistic undead creature who feeds off hearing themselves talk.
